Smartphone (Carplay + Android Auto) interface function unlocking service for Audi A3 (8V) & Audi TT (8S) MIB2 infotainment units

• Additionally we can also offer the option to update the system navigation maps to the newest available version (Only available if vehicle includes navigation function from factory!). In case you're also interested on it, you will simply have to select the "Maps update" addon before adding this service to your cart.

Once the infotainment module has been processed, you will only have to connect it again on the vehicle and install the new USB input (which will also have to be replaced), in order to enjoy the new Smartphone interface function right on your vehicle, allowing you to control your iOS or Android smatphone and use some functions such as Navigation, integrated hansfree management, music reproduction... etc.

How to proceed to perform this re-equipment:

1. Shipment of the system to our facilities (you will receive the shipping information at the end of the order)Once received the unit will be notified by email at the time of reception and proceed to the installation of the service (working time 7-10 business days)
    
2. Installation in Workshop (This service includes disassembling the equipment in our workshop and alsothe subsequent assembly once service has been applied (7-10 business days). You will be contacted to arrange an appointment for that installation, it will take less than 2h.

Vehicle can circulate without problems even infotainment module is disassembled from vehicle.

* We do recommend to adquire the related product that you can find at the bottom of this product's description, the "Retrofit kit USB + AUX wiring harness with plug socket for Audi A3/Q2 MIB 2 - Smartphone Interface - Apple Carplay, Android Auto", because as commented previously it will be imprescindible to replace this USB port to be able to use the Smartphone interface functions (this happens because event the factory USB connection port, can be physically identical to the new which is being retrofited, the new one includes some internal differences related to the authentication electronics for smartphone usage, that the factory one doesn't include).
